In 2010, the demand for fasteners in the United States, Western Europe and Asia was $16.6 billion, $14 billion and $19.2 billion, respectively. The demand for fastener products is divided into threads, with external thread products accounting for 52% of the total demand. Internal thread products account for about 19% of the total demand. Threaded products account for about 18% of the total demand. Special parts and assemblies required by users account for about 7% of the total demand. Special fasteners such as aerospace account for about 4% of the total demand.

China is a big fastener producer. There are more than 7000 fastener enterprises, large and small, in the country. In 2007, the fastener output reached 5.25 million tons, accounting for more than 1/4 of the global fastener output. The output has ranked first in the world for many years. However, at present, most of the fasteners produced in China are low-strength and low-grade products, of which ordinary low-grade standard fasteners below grade 8.8 account for about 45%-50%.

However, the competition in China's fastener market is becoming more and more fierce with the passage of time. Many foreign companies continue to enter the market of our country, and take root in our country, using our cheap labor to produce its brand products to obtain higher profits. Under this kind of pressure, how to make their products not be suppressed and develop better and better has become a big problem for many enterprises to think about.

The lack of Chinese brands is also a problem that needs to be dealt with by enterprises. So many enterprises have poured into the Chinese market from foreign countries, which means that more fastener enterprises need to constantly break through themselves and gradually become an enterprise that can connect with the international market. Such pressure is of great help to the development of our fasteners.

Compared with foreign-funded enterprises, many fasteners in our country lack mainly big brands, which makes us compete poorly in the fastener market. Therefore, our country has adopted a familiar price war, but because it is in China's fastener market. Therefore, the price war for China's enterprises now do not have much advantage, then the best way is to create a high-strength screw brand, have their own ideas, and international fasteners, so that the competition in the market will appear more powerful.

As long as we can build a system and policy environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship through reform, we can make a significant improvement in the technical level and added value level of China's fasteners in a short period of time. At present, the world's advanced level of fasteners are facing large or small technological breakthroughs.
