On July 15, 2021, a group of 18 people from the party branch of Meiganli Company went to the former site of the 129 Division Headquarters in Chi'an Village, Henan Dian Town, Shexian County to visit and study. The former site is located in the center of Chian Village, covering an area of 8320 square meters. It consists of three farmhouse courtyards and air-raid shelters. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit announced by the State Council, and the Central Propaganda Department announced it as a national patriotic education demonstration base.

We successively visited the hostel offices, offices, confidential rooms, conference rooms, etc. of many division chiefs of the headquarters. The correspondence displayed, photos of various periods, and production, living utensils and clothing under extremely difficult conditions at that time were silent. During the prosperous years of war, it told the feelings of the army and the people in the war of resistance; the cruelty of the war and the fierce fighting, it demonstrates the spirit of the 129th Division of the army under the leadership of the Communist Party, which is brave and tenacious, for the country and the people, and is not afraid of bloodshed and sacrifice.

In the old courtyard, facing the party flag, we revisited the oath of joining the party and made a solemn oath. Through the oath activities, we strengthened our ideals and beliefs, understood the national spirit, learned from experience and wisdom, based on our own duties, and devoted ourselves to our work with more energy. We also went to Miaopo Mountain, about 100 meters away from the former site of the 129 Division headquarters, to pay tribute to the statues of Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping, where the spiritual bones of Liu Bocheng and other generals were placed. Deng Xiaoping personally inscribed the name of "General Ridge" and the pavilion name of "Marshal Liu Bocheng Memorial Pavilion. On the north side of Jiangjunling, there is an exhibition hall of the Eighth Route Army 129 Division, which reflects the glorious course of the Eighth Route Army's transition to Taihang. Due to landscape maintenance, the exhibition hall was not open that day, so we had to wait for the next opportunity with regret.

After visiting and studying at the former site of the 129 Division headquarters, we drove down from Jiangjun Ridge to the East Taihang Scenic Area for sightseeing. East Taihang Scenic Area is located in Huoshui Township, Wu'an City, adjacent to Ancient Wudang in the east, Jingniang Lake in the south, Qibugou in the west, and Changshou Village in the north. It is a collection of Taihang Mountains, strange, dangerous, and Qiaoshi, Yunhai, A mountain-type natural scenic spot with a total planned area of 26 square kilometers and a maximum elevation of 1428 meters.

The stone plank road and viewing platform are built on the cliff above 1000 meters above sea level, winding around the ridge, like a wandering dragon, which is the longest ridge plank road in North China. Climb the plank road, walk on it, and feel the majesty and beauty of the mountains at close range. Because it rained the night before yesterday, coupled with the high terrain, it was sunny after the rain, and there were clouds and mist rising from the valley, stretching along the plank road, strolling on the plank road, such as walking on the clouds. At this time, the sightseeing is beautiful and magnificent, worthy of the reputation of "cloud plank road.

In order to alleviate the visual fatigue of tourists walking on the plank road for a long time, the scenic spot has carved five characters of "how", "sure enough" and "good" on the cliffs in different areas; on some cliffs, on the plank road and on the upper and lower steps, 3D paintings of various animals and plants, similar to water pontoons, underwater world, fairy tales and so on are also ingeniously drawn, let the tourists in the scenic area of the intimate layout and surprised the artist's skills at the same time, the fatigue along the way also disappeared.

Through the tour of the East Taihang Scenic spot, it shows the beautiful spirit of Meijianli people who bear hardships and stand hard work, perseverance, bravery, unity and cooperation, and forge ahead courageously.
